1967 Plymouth "GTX" from the 1995 hit comedy movie "Tommy Boy," directed by Peter Segal and starring David Spade and Chris Farley.  This is one of the four cars actually used in the movie.  Pete seized the opportunity to buy the car from his breakout movie at auction in 2022, and promptly began the process to bring it back to it's glory as seen in the Tommy Boy Movie.  Axis Paintworks was chosen to do the body and paint on this beautiful restoration by Marcus Anghel of Anghel Restorations.  This car was showed and judged at the 2025 MCACN (Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals) show in Chicago and received a perfect score from the judges - a great accomplishment for everyone involved!  It has already made a good tour around the country and I'm sure there will be more to come.

Has been featured in the 2025 MCACN Magazine
Was the cover car on the June 2026 issue of Mopar Collector's Guide

This is a 1 of 1, 1970 Charger R/T SE vinyl top sunroof car with a 440 six pack.  Owned by our client Sean out of the Palm Springs area.  Axis Paintworks was entrusted to take this car from sheet metal to show car finish and we are all super happy with how it turned out.  We did minor panel adjustment and gapped the car before starting the body work.  The Plum Crazy Purple really pops in the sun and is the correct classic formula, as opposed to the new formulation which is much darker and pearl heavy like you see on the newer MOPARS.

The Stanceworks E36.  Many e36's have been featured on Stanceworks over the years, but everyone who knows, knows this is "The" Stanceworks E36.
Owned by Mike Burroughs of Stanceworks.  This car was a very cool project to be a part of and it is awesome to see it still looking so good after all these years after being painted here at Axis Paintworks.  This was our first of many E36 sunroof deletes.

Mike put together a whole series as he revived this car on the Stanceworks YouTube Channel.

The first big project after opening our doors, while still Elite Auto Creations (old logo is 2nd down on the doors), was this Scion FR-S, known as the Maximum Attack FR-S, headed up by Keith at SpeedHunters.  This Scion FR-S was to be built in 90 days and compete in the 2014 Scion Tuner Challenge at the SEMA show.  Keith and livery designer Andy Blackmore came up with this IMSA inspired theme and design for the car, which ended up winning 1st place in the Scion Tuner Challenge at the 2014 SEMA Show!

This one came to us from another Keith here in Phoenix, who you have probably seen featured on Stance Works for his prior builds, a 1966 Volvo Amazon and a 1977 Datsun 280Z.  This one was a departure from the last two in the form of an imported E34 BMW 525i Touring.
